Judy Kovar is one of bowhunting’s greatest ambassadors. For more than two decades, she has influenced thousands of school children with her imaginative presentations focusing on archery, bowhunting and conservation issues. Weaving stories about her unique heritage as the granddaughter of a Northern Cheyenne medicine man, with her own work as an Illinois conservationist and her record-book hunting expeditions, Kovar has attracted the attention of archery and hunting organizations to support her positive messages. A 2006 recipient of the Muzzy Tall Man award, Kovar resides in Illinois with her husband, Herm.
